Backed by the Proven Seed Performance Promise Invest in Proven Seed and have confidence your investment is protected by the industry’s leading reseed program. The Proven Seed Performance Promise gives growers the opportunity to replant forage stands at half of the original suggested retail price in the case of inadequate establishment. Establishing productive forage stands can be difficult. Proven Seed offers top-quality forage varieties stringently tested under local conditions to help minimize risk. Combined with our Performance Promise, forage producers can grow with confidence. Based on extensive research, companion crops can be detrimental to forage establishment. We recommend a lower seeding rate for companion crops, such as barley and oats, to reduce competitive pressure on the establishing forage. Customers who seed proprietary Proven Seed forages will be registered automatically for the Proven Seed Performance Promise. In order to receive 50% of Proven Seed’s Performance Promise at no charge, customers must purchase the other 50% at SRP.
